OUR PHILOSOPHY
Formed in 1991, MASH focuses on exploring the multifaceted interplay between audio and visual elements. We aim to push beyond the method pioneered by Cunningham and Cage, which eliminates the connection between these elements, while also avoiding reliance on conventional approaches. Instead, we strive to forge innovative relationships that challenge and expand traditional perceptions of audio-visual expression.
Our work spans various formats, including multimedia performances, single-channel videos, and audio-visual interactive experiences.
Through the years MASH has received project grants, and our works have been chosen for several prestigeous international festivals in Europe and USA. Notable venues include Not Still Art (New York) and Transmediale (Berlin).
